Samsung Elec says Q1 operating profit up 12 pct vs year earlier

SEOUL, April 28 (Reuters) - Tech giant Samsung Electronics

Co Ltd said on Thursday its first-quarter operating

profit rose 12 percent from a year earlier, buoyed by strong
